He Forgives

I realized that whenever i sin, it takes a long time to forgive myself, and though i feel genuinely sorry for my sin(s), the un-forgiveness sometimes take me a long time to ask God for His forgiveness. Then i realized, feeling unworthy and ashamed is the devil tactics to further drive me away from God.

Already sin drives a wedge between us and God, delaying asking His forgiveness drives us farther away from His presence. God never expected any of us to be perfect, though he hopes we can overcome whatever temptation we face (His Word says, "I'll not let you face any temptation that is greater than you can handle") He still doesn't love us less when we fall short. So, the next time u feel un-worthy or ashamed, turn back to God, He's just a prayer away, waiting for you with arms open wide.

Never let your shortcomings drive you away from God, He is the only one who is never disappointed in us even when we let Him down.
Stay bleesed!

Valley Of Shadow

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
Psalm 23:1-6

According to ODB annual Edition, The road that inspired David's 23rd psalm (named wadi kelt known as the valley of the shadow) is a bleak, barren landscape and perilously steep, meant for thieves but not for anyone. Despite this, David was able to recognize God's presence, Instead of focusing on the bad and horrible condition of the road, He decided to focus on The Father. Similarly, we all have different valleys of shadow we/to pass through in our daily lives, instead of focusing on them, Lets put our focus and hope in God. Though it might be difficult to ignore the difficulties of those valleys, we can be rest assured that The Greatest Shepherd of all is leading us and His rod and staff comforts us always. He never let go of us.
